Team Citation:
Our Bayside P-12 Attendance team is comprised of leaders from each campus, Altona North, Paisley and Williamstown. It has worked strategically to strengthen student engagement and connection so that every student is supported to attend, learn, and thrive. By combining prevention and intervention, we have developed a whole-school approach that is both sustainable and impactful.
We have focused on building positive environments where students feel safe, valued, and connected, while partnering with families, agencies, and external providers to create flexible options. Success has been celebrated through recognition of student achievement, alongside expanded opportunities in curriculum, leadership, and extra-curricular programs.
Our work has attracted recognition, with education networks inviting us to present our approach and share the strategies we have developed.
